A Change in the PA Hero Walk Philosophy

Since the first PA Hero Walk in 2009, the group has raised and given the Wounded Warrior Project hundreds of thousands of dollars and have helped many veterans with their efforts. In the winter of 2013 the group decided to make a change in 2014 and dedicate their fundraising efforts to focus on Pennsylvania veterans from all branches and from all eras. Since this change the group has has received unanimous accolades for their decision to keep the money raised in Pennsylvania to help Pennsylvania veterans. The PA Hero Walk has rasied over $1.8 Million to date for our veterans.

The group continues to emphasize helping individual veterans that need help in the following areas listed below.

  • HOUSING
  • FOOD
  • CLOTHING
  • CAR AND HOME REPAIR
  • APPLIANCE PUCHASE OR REPAIR
  • UTLITY PAYMENTS
  • AUTO PURCHASE

If you know of a Pennsylvania veteran in need of help, please refer them to their County Veterans Affairs Director or our website at PAHEROWALK.COM

Al Pulice, in conjunction with the Kiski Valley Veterans and Patriots Association (KVVPA), founded and created the PA Hero Walk and you can contact Al for any additional questions that you may have via email at alpulice@comcast.net or call Al at 412.862.1672
