ANNUAL ALTERNATIVE GIFT MARKET -- Sunday November 19, 2017

The Alternative Gift Market is an exciting way of making a donation or donations to over 20 Non Profits represented at the market, which you can then present to friends and relatives as Christmas gifts. Please attend, you will enjoy yourself and perhaps find out about a non profit that you have been interested in.



ANNUAL VETERANS EXPO AT MONTGOMERY COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE -- Sunday November 19, 2017

There will be 35 exhibitors who will offer information about health care, employment opportunities, education and much more information available to veterans. This Veterans Expo is again jointly hosted by US Congressman Patrick Meehan and State Representatives Kate Harper, Todd Stephens and Tom Murt.

There will be health screenings as well as on site issuance of Veterans ID cards for Montgomery County veterans made possible by the Montgomery County Recorder of Deeds. Please bring photo ID and your DD 214.

A Change in the PA Hero Walk Philosophy

Since the first PA Hero Walk in 2009, the group has raised and given the Wounded Warrior Project hundreds of thousands of dollars and have helped many veterans with their efforts. In the winter of 2013 the group decided to make a change in 2014 and dedicate their fundraising efforts to focus on Pennsylvania veterans from all branches and from all eras. Since this change the group has has received unanimous accolades for their decision to keep the money raised in Pennsylvania to help Pennsylvania veterans. The PA Hero Walk has rasied over $1.8 Million to date for our veterans.

The group continues to emphasize helping individual veterans that need help in the following areas listed below.

  • HOUSING
  • FOOD
  • CLOTHING
  • CAR AND HOME REPAIR
  • APPLIANCE PUCHASE OR REPAIR
  • UTLITY PAYMENTS
  • AUTO PURCHASE
